Government's key goal is to encourage individual efforts: Armenia's PM

Our key goal is encouragement of individual efforts which contribute to the development of the country as we are convinced that the individual efforts of Armenian citizens are the turning point that will raise Armenia economically, politically to a new level, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the My Step for Tavush Region investment business conference.

“By saying individual effort we mean like founder of Apaga Resort company Artak Chibukhchyan, who one day decides to return to Armenia from Russia and create in his homeland Yenokavan community such a reality that will change the life of Yenokavan. I am speaking about founders of Karahunj vineyard. People are coming from Diaspora and create new reality in Armenia,” the PM said.

He stressed that the locomotive of the changes must be the government, the biggest effort the government must undertake is to show examples of such people to others for inspiring them.

“There are people today in Armenia who reached results from zero. They did not give up, they did not disappoint. These people are heroes of our times and their examples must inspire the others,” the head of the government said.
