Mr Grigoryan to face serious problems if does not become CC chairman: Bright Armenia lawmaker

Hrayr Tovmasyan is considered today a judge, lawmaker from Bright Armenia faction Ani Samsonyan said at the parliament briefings today.

“Current chairman of the CC Hrayr Tovmasyan is considered judge with all the criteria. Each individual interpretation of the constitutional norms is unacceptable for us,” the lawmaker said.

Samsonyan also noted that in his speech at the NA Vahe Grigoryan stated that since the moment of his election he assumes the commitments of the CC judge which though is not visible till now.

“Mr Grigoryan came and said in the NA that he assumes the authorities of the judge but few days have passed and we clearly see that he has not done it. If Mr Grigoryan does not become CC chairman I think he will have serious problems,” Samsonyan said.

Other lawmaker of Bright Armenia faction Karen Simonyan noted that Hrayr Tovmasyan has been elected with corresponding legal acts and it is necessary to apply to administrative court to dispute it.

“One person cannot be a source of right in Armenia, decide how to interpret constitutional norms,” Ani Samsonyan said.
