Armenia, Malta to boost political dialogue
Armenia wants to boost bilateral political dialogue with Malta, Armenia’s foreign minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stated at the joint news conference with foreign relations and trade promotion minister of Malta Carmelo Abela in Yerevan today.
“We are small countries and our psychology works in the pre-context of solidarity of small countries. Malta is EU member state and we had an opportunity to discuss a number of issues relating to Armenia-EU agenda,” the Armenian minister said.
Mnatsakanyan said that the trade turnover between the two countries is not so impressive but at the meeting with Carmelo Abela a number of sectors have been outlined where the two countries have big opportunities for cooperation.
“We hope we will manage to have a seasonal flight as well. We have a good basis for working in the spheres of education and science,” Mnatsakanyan said.
