Scenario of one-sided concessions excluded: MFA spokesperson

The formation of peace-promoting atmosphere is a priority for Armenia, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anna Naghdalyan told the reporters today.

“We do not believe in possibility of registering progress in the peace talks in conditions of escalation on the border,” she said.

The spokesperson stressed that the supposition that Armenia may negotiate under threat is very dangerous supposition.

“Armenia has always been speaking from the position of peace, Armenia has always been speaking from the position of solution acceptable for all the parties but it does not mean that for reaching peace Armenia is ready for one-sided concessions which endanger Artsakh’s right to self-determination and its security. The supposition that the scenario of one-sided concessions is real is excluded and does not correspond to reality,” Anna Naghdalyan stressed.
