It is important for France to refrain from military-industrial cooperation with Azerbaijan: Armenia’s MFA
Armenian Foreign Ministry has always stated its position over the race of ammunition in the region, spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan told the reporters today, referring to the information that Azerbaijan is planning to buy weapon from France.
“We have always been raising this issue both during bilateral meetings and in multi-sided platforms,” Naghdalyan said.
As to concretely this case, Anna Naghdalyan said that the military-industrial cooperation between France and Azerbaijan is always in the focus of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
The spokesperson reminded the words of the French president’s that France is the only country which strictly follows its embargo commitments and that France will never sell weapon to Azerbaijan for it to use it against Artsakh.
“It is important for France to really keep its commitment and restrain from any cooperation with Azerbaijan which may undermine the military balance and peace in the region,” Naghdalyan said.
