No crisis in Constitutional Court of Armenia: CC chairman

Chairman of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan claims there is no crisis in Armenia’s Constitutional Court.

“You have got familiarized with the collective position of judges of the Constitutional Court fixed in the statement,” he said.

As to how he sees the way out of the situation over the Constitutional Court, Tovmasyan said there is no situation that needs solution.

“There is no situation that needs solution, there is no problem that needs to be solved. I do not see problem, if I do not see problem, I cannot speak about its solution,” Tovmasyan said.

Hrayr Tovmasyan stated that he works without any problems with judge Vahe Grigoryan.

“We work without any problems, he participates in discussions but not in sessions,” he said.

To the question whether he is judge or member of CC, Hrayr Tovmasyan said, “I am chairman of the Constitutional Court.”

As to whether he is going to step down, Hrayr Tovmasyan said, “no”.
