Negotiations with Russia over gas price reduction continue: Garegin Baghramyan

Negotiation over gas price are held in few phases, chairman of Public Services Regulatory Commission Garegin Baghramyan told the reporters today.

He said the negotiations over tariffs in the domestic market have no relation to the visit of the Russian president, stressing that the issue of gas price formation on the border has more relation to it.

“As of the moment I cannot tell what will happen. Naturally each side negotiates to have economically more favorable results for itself. We are negotiating for reduction of price. The negotiations have not ended yet. I do not think that there is final solution. I cannot say anything about reduction of prices. It will be clear after negotiations are complete,” Baghramyan stressed.

He also said that certain expenses will be cut via investment projects.
