«This judiciary starting from Constitutional court to the rest, is not compatible with New Armenia». Nikol Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with RFE/RL’s Armenian service, said.
«Judicial system should be independent. But a year later it becomes clear, that judiciary feels itself not independent, but masterless. And it looks for a master, for someone to own the judicial system. I don't rule out [the possibility], that they are looking for a master even outside of Armenia. They say. «Come and own us, we are masterless, because we are used to having a master, who should hold a stick in his hand to hit our heads with it. And when he doesn't hit our heads with it, we feel ourselves abandoned. This is how our judicial system works. This judiciary is incompatible with New Armenia»
This is a judiciary which is a slave to a master. For the last year, judges and judiciary instead of being occupied with self-purification, instead of saying «How much freedom we got! At last we have a chance to be estimable judges, to be estimable citizens», these people are looking for masters. They are looking for their old masters in corners.
They whine under doors. «Come and own us, how are we supposed to live with 400 thousand drams, wasn't it great back in the times, when you were giving us money, you were giving us bread, you were sending us khash and lyulya-kebab». That judiciary starting from Constitutional court to the rest [of the system], is not compatible with New Armenia».
