Thirteen people charged relating to unrest in Ijevan
Thirteen people have been charged in relation with unrest in Armenia’s Ijevan, Investigative Committee press service reported.
It has been reported earlier that a group of people closed Armenia-Georgia inter-state road’s Ijevan sector protesting against tougher measures to be instituted while fighting against illegal tree-cutting.
The group violated the public order, applied violence with the usage of stones against the police officers and refused to obey their orders.
Arrest has been applied as preventive measure against 10, two have been released on bail, another person has been released on signature bond on not leaving the country.
