Criminal Court of Appeal denies prosecutor’s petition over arrest on Kocharyan’s property and bank accounts
Criminal Court of Appeal headed by judge Arsen Nikoghosyan denied the petition of the prosecutor relating to the arrest of property and bank accounts of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan.
The judge stated that the prosecutors may appeal the decision after 15 days since receiving the decision at the Court of Cassation.
Yerevan court of general jurisdiction with judge Anna Danibekyan decided that Kocharyan’s rights have been violated.
Prosecutor Petros Petrosyan appealed court’s decision claiming that the arrest on Kocharyan’s property is legally based.
Speaking at the court Robert Kocharyan stated that his rights are being violated.
