We must show our intolerance toward these violations for this exclusion not become a rule: Melikyan
Founder of Legal line NGO Ruben Melikyan is concerned over the search conducted in the office of judge of Yerevan general instance court Davit Grigoryan as well as over the criminal case instituted against him.
Speaking to reporters today he said he sees clear connection with the Kocharyan’s case examined by the judge and the decision he made.
“Davit Grigoryan made a decision on May 18 over Kocharyan and other’s case and on May 22 a person appears, presenting “more grounded arguments” on the basis of which the prosecutor’s office decides to re-open the case against the judge,” Melikyan said, adding that the judge is charged for falsification.
The person having reported on him is Sergo Panosyan. After judge’s decision in Kocharyan’s case they have started intensive criminal persecution against Grigoryan.
As to not allowing the judge to participate in the search of the office, Melikyan said that if the person whose territory is being searched is present he must be allowed to be present at the search.
“We must show our intolerance toward these violations for this exclusion not become a rule,” Melikyan said.
