No bar may forbid person deal with politics: Soghomonyan about Kocharyan’s political activity
Head of Robert Kocharyan’s office Viktor Soghomonyan claims that Kocharyan is now dealing with politics.
“I hope he will not stay in custody for a long time. No bar may forbid person deal with politics,” Soghomonyan told the reporters today, asked when to expect Robert Kocharyan appear in politics and whether it is possible to deal with politics behind bars.
He said probably tomorrow the interview of the former president will be published where he will present his approaches.
Soghomonyan said it is undisputable that currently “favorable conditions” have been created for Kocharyan to deal with politics.
“Unfortunately a bad occasion convinced me that we have very good political role makers, highly qualified professionals, state, public figures who are not afraid of authorities. To sum up, I will say, president Kocharyan is in politics, irrespective whether he is in jail or not. To think that it is able to force the person to give up his intention by illegal arrest will be just a naivety,” Soghomonyan said.
