We will not allow disturbing Artsakh’s unity, will apply tough measures if necessary: Vitaly Balasanyan issues statement
Artsakh hero, former secretary of Artsakh’s Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan released a statement about the domestic political developments in Artsakh.
In it Balasanyan stressed that his meetings with the counterparts raise concern as for the first time they see a real threat of overthrow of the constitutional order in the country and even loss of state and the statehood.
He stressed that during 2012 as a presidential candidate he could direct the surge of dissatisfaction and conduct rallies and protest actions but it was not done as they clearly realized the dangerous consequences of it and the degree of their responsibility and respected the collective will of all to built a democratic state and did not choose the unpromising way to fight for chair.
“In our country the field of solving the issues is not the street, so after the elections, irrespective of the post I assumed, I continued my service having my share of the contribution to the development of Artsakh and today no one has right to mix the challenges and push forward own political ambitions under the name of civil initiatives making an attempt to disturb our unity. I state with whole responsibility that me and my associates will not allow and will apply tough measures if necessary. We will stand by the authorities and statehood till the end for ensuring the domestic stability,” he said in the statement, adding that all the political processes in Artsakh must be directed toward formation of legitimate authorities which may be ensured by conduction of free, fair elections with equal conditions for all the participating forces.
