Artsakh stood behind Armenia’s revolution in spring 2018: Pashinyan
The velvet revolution in spring of 2018 established new reality which naturally should have its influence in Diaspora and Artsakh, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated today at the Revival Square in Artsakh’s Stepanakert.
He said today the issue on how this influence should be is being widely discussed. To find the organic answer to the question, it is necessary to register and assess the essence of the revolution that took place in 2018.
“The fact that on revolution days Artsakh managed to firmly and stably keep the frontline gave Armenia an unprecedented strength and trust as each provocation on the border could have turned the logic of political developments in Armenia and result in unpredictable consequences,” Pashinyan stated.
He said during the days of revolution, in essence, symbolic change of roles took place.
“If before revolution and after it Armenia is standing behind Artsakh, in spring 2018 Artsakh stood behind Armenia and the revolution keeping our rear firmly, giving big strength to the processes of the revolution. We are proud of you, dear people of Artsakh,” Pashinyan stated.
