Tensions in Artsakh inadmissible: Armenia’s NSS director
Artsakh is a special place and there must be stability there, National Security Service director Artur Vanetsyan told the reporters in Artsakh, referring to the possible tension there.
“Any tensions in Artsakh are not desirable. Artsakh’s stability must be on the highest level,” he said, adding that while implementing his responsibilities as NSS director he takes into consideration this circumstance and in general they are being guided with the principle that Artsakh must be stable.
Speaking about the statement of Armenia’s Prime Minister that the influence of the foreign forces on Armenian domestic political life must be excluded, the NSS director said that in general, different foreign forces are trying to interfere into affairs of this or that country.
“I cannot tell you the details, but if these interferences resulted into any consequences we would have been aware of them. We managed to act in a way to ensure Armenia’s and Artsakh’s security and keep them away from the interference of any foreign force,” he said.
