Kocharyan’s lawyers unaware of NSS’s restored documents relating to March 1 case
Robert Kocharyan’s lawyer Aram Orbelyan is not aware of what documents the National Security Service director Artur Vanetsyan was speaking about in Artsakh. Vanetsyan said the NSS has restored important missing documents which appeared to relate to March 1 2008 case and handed them to Special Investigation Service.
Speaking to reporters today Orbelyan said that March 1 criminal case consists of over 600 volumes and they have applied to the Special Investigation Service to provide it to the defense team for getting familiarized with it.
Orbelyan said the SIS rejected the request which defense team is disputing now.
The lawyer said it is not clear on what legal basis materials are being kept in the NSS.
“It is necessary to learn what they are speaking about, after which it will be possible to give legal assessments,” Orbelyan said.
