Head of presidential security service to be invited to court and asked whether troops from Artsakh were brought to Armenia or not: Alumyan
Lawyer of Armenia’s former president Hayk Alumyan claimed that troops from Artsakh were not brought to Yerevan during March 1, 2008 unrest.
“No division of Artsakh armed forces, no soldier from Artsakh entered Armenia during those days,” he claimed at news conference on Wednesday.
Referring to BBC publication Alumyan said that the article said that the troops from Artsakh were deployed in presidential residence.
“Luckily today, there is a good opportunity to clarify this circumstance. If you think that they are telling the truth and we not, you can ask the head of state security service Hayrapetov who was ensuring security of the presidential residence. We will call him to court and ask him questions,” Alumyan stated.
