Hraparak: New figure to appear in fight for presidential chair in Artsakh

Daily Hraparak writes that after Samvel Babayan-Arayik Harutyunyan cooperation has been made public a new figure will enter the pre-electoral fight in Artsakh. The paper says yesterday Artsakh foreign minister Masis Mayilyan stated about the possibility of participating in the elections.

Citing its sources the paper says that this decision was made after the Babayan-Harutyunyan cooperation was revealed.

According to some information, Mayilyan has even received positive signals from Yerevan for nomination. The paper says the face-to-face meeting of Babayan and Harutyunyan raised suspicions among the Armenian authorities that they may make a deal at any moment and that there is a need of reserve candidate.

The paper says Mayilyan may also get support of the current president Bako Sahakyan.
