Real estate transactions in Armenia noticeably grow: Armenia’s PM
The real estate transactions in the July 2019 have grown by 17,1% as compared with July 2018, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on Facebook. In June 2019 the transactions registered 10,3% growth as compared with June 2018.
The head of the government hailed the fact that growth of the transactions has been registered on the account of those made in regions and not in capital Yerevan.
As to the claims that the activeness in the field is agreed with the people selling their houses and leaving, the premier stressed in such conditions reduction of number of transactions is being registered as the sellers are more and the buyers are less and even having greatest desire the people cannot sell their apartments for years. The PM stressed that such situation existed in 2018 before the revolution.
“Now opposite process takes place, we have more buyers and less sellers. Why do people want to sell their apartment if not to leave? For instance they want to sell it for buying a better one, or for buying smaller one and invest the rest money in something else,” the PM wrote, adding that agreed with it the mortgage loans in Armenia have registered an unprecedented growth.
