Environmentalist boycotts meeting on Baghramyan 26 and leaves the Amulsar discussion

As a concerned citizen who has a dignity I cannot allow such treatment against my intelligence, my thinking ability, environmentalist Anna Shahnazaryan stated leaving Baghramyan 26 building, saying that she has left the discussion, not wanting to participate in it anymore.

She stressed that the government should have considered the existing Environment Influence Assessment as invalid and demand a new one while during the discussion she got convinced that no such thing will happen.

“The government on behalf of Nikol Pashinyan said these facts do not provide legal grounds and I consider it a violence against intelligence. I have never heard such manipulative text. It does not present any fact while Pashinyan always wants to stress that he will speak on the language of facts while what happened is a conclusion which has turned over the reality. I have boycotted the meeting and having interrupted Pashinyan’s speech, left. I will not allow to deceive me, tell me that what I have in front of me is not a fact when in reality it is,” the environmentalist said.

She said she does not think the meeting is aimed at reaching general consent over the issue.

“Over 30 minutes only Pashinyan was speaking,” she said, adding that what he was saying was not rational.
