Armenia and Russia keep being reliable strategic allies: Armenia’s FM

Russia and Armenia continue being strategic allies, Armenia’s foreign minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stated today at the meetings with heads of diplomatic representations in Armenia.

“The agenda of Armenia’s comprehensive security and development sets our foreign political priorities. Russia and Armenia continue being reliable strategic allies. We are connected with the Russian people with common history, close cultural and human ties,” the minister said.

He noted that the allied agenda is quite enhanced and includes military-political security, energy infrastructures development, trade relations and other directions.

“Armenia attaches significance to the integration processes in the sidelines of the CSTO and EAEU and the development and implementation of the joint goals of the member states,” the minister said.
