No one may drive a wedge between Armenia and Artsakh: Armenia’s NA speaker
The fundament of Artsakh’s independence has been fostered from year to year, chairman of Armenia’s parliament Ararat Mirzoyan told the reporters in Stepanakert, Aysor.am’s correspondent reports.
He stressed that the realization of Artsakh’s liberty and independence was a dream of generations and today this dream is a reality.
“I want to congratulate all on this occasion, we all must contribute our efforts to keep what we achieved and foster it and bring to logical harbor,” the NA speaker said.
He noted that there cannot be serious disputes between the authorities and opposition of Artsakh as it related to the fundamental values, achievements and goals which gathered the people and created statehood.
Ararat Mirzoyan also spoke about the circulated talks about disputes between Armenia and Artsakh, noting that the discussion of the issue has already become boring.
“Such thing is impossible. No one may drive a wedge between Armenia and Artsakh irrespective of what force is ruling in either Artsakh or Armenia,” Mirzoyan stressed.
NA speaker stressed that it is necessary to keep voicing the right of Artsakh people to self-determination in all the possible platforms.
“No matter how much we will try to push the issue forward from the viewpoint of historic justice, at the same time we must understand that the world speaks in the language of rights and protection of these rights,” he said.
