Thousands of companies have debit balance of the Value Added Tax formed till July 1, 2017, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on Facebook.
“If not to go into details, I will just say that these are the sums the state owes to enterprises the number of which reaches to almost 9,000,” he reported, adding that currently the government is discussing the opportunity to return over 56 billion AMD debit balance to the companies.
“The proposal is that those companies which will receive the money they already lost hope to get invest them into our economy. In essence, this means injection of 100 million USD to the state’s economy which has not had any such precedent in Armenia’s history,” the head of the government wrote.
