Two chiefs of force institutions removed from posts with the decision of Armenia’s PM: Eduard Aghajanyan
National Security Service director and chief of the Armenian police were removed from posts with the decision of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, head of prime minister’s administration Eduard Aghajanyan told the reporters after the session of the Civil Contract party’s administration.
He said they discussed a number of issues, including the dismissals of the heads of force institutions.
“The two known dismissals took place with the decision of the prime minister. The most important accent is that they took place with the decision of the prime minister. As to the reasons, I can say that the prime minister was not satisfied with the activity of the two officials,” Aghajanyan said.
He stressed that the issue of new candidates was not discussed at the session.
“Currently the issue of new appointments is not being discussed,” Aghajanyan said.
