Sasna Tsrer party hails resignations of NSS and police chiefs, says it testifies deepening crisis in state governance system
Sasna Tsrer has released a statement referring to the resignations of heads of force structures, stating that the developments testify the deepening crisis in the state governance system.
The party claims that the ongoing events prove the existence of plan of revenge and that this plan is facing the danger of failure and hailed the resignations but described it a very small step not enough to nationalize the functions of extremely important structures.
“The whole state management system needs radical reforms. The situation with the NSS and the police raises worries in particular. First of all it is necessary to separate them from soviet heritage and clean from anti-state and corrupted staff making it correspond to the current challenges and bring them under political and civil control,” the statement runs.
The party also proposed conduction of referendums or applying other democratic measures for the solution of all the critical and strategic issues.
It also urged to appoint in the posts of heads of NSS and police people not having previously any connection with the establishments and not having any negative trace in the memory of the people with their biography.
