Presidents Putin, Trump congratulate Armenia’s PM on Independence Day
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin congratulated Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day.
Russia’s president extended his sincere congratulations and wishes, stressing the existence of friendly and allied relations between Russia and Armenia.
“I am convinced that with joint efforts we will manage to strengthen the bilateral constructive cooperation in political, trade-economic, humanitarian and other sectors as well as enhance partnership in the sidelines of Eurasian Integration processes. Beyond doubts, it goes in line with the interests of our brotherly nations, with ensuring stability and security in the Caucasian region,” Putin said in the message, wishing success, welfare and prosperity to the Armenian people.
President of the United States Donald Trump sent a congratulatory message to Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day.
He congratulated the PM and Armenians on the 28th anniversary of independence, saying that the USA hails close cooperation with Armenia, and the government’s commitment to the implementation of democratic and economic reforms.
“We support the wish of the Armenian people to live in rule of law, corruption-free, democratic country which was expressed during the peaceful actions across Armenia last year. We welcome your personal involvement in finding peaceful and lasting settlement to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in the sidelines of the Minsk Group. I am full of hope that the existing partnership between our two countries will get new impetus,” Trump said in the message.
