Witness of ex-top police official Hayk Harutyunyan's suicide interrogated
Witness of suicide of ex-chief of Armenia’s police Hayk Harutyunyan has been interrogated to reveal the circumstances of the death of the former top police official.
Investigative Committee’s spokesperson Naira Harutyunyan reported that the content of his conversation with Hayk Harutyunyan did not relate to the pressures on him in the sidelines of March 1 criminal case.
The committee stated that the information published by Hayeli.am does not correspond to reality.
Earlier Hayeli.am, citing its sources wrote that Harutyunyan committed suicide in front of witnesses.
“He said the present that the prosecutor general and Sasun Khachatryan, Specials Investigation Service chief, are forcing him to give false testimonies against Robert Kocharyan and Gegham Petrosyan, but they are not guilty,” Hayeli.am wrote.
