Armenia’s DM describes latest subversive act by adversary strange

Armenia’s defense minister Davit Tonoyan says it is difficult to say why the adversary attempted penetration in this phase.

“I cannot say what it is agreed with. It is strange both regarding the chosen hour and the number of involved people. A very strange thing occurred. Perhaps they got lost,” the minister told the reporters on Tuesday.

Asked whether the Armenian side is getting prepared for the response attack, the minister said there is no such issue as of now.

“At this moment we have nothing to respond to. Just the opposite, we have implemented our humanitarian duty. The defense army did what it should have done,” the minister said, adding that yesterday in the evening the body of killed was handed to the Azerbaijani side.

On September 22 Artsakh defense army reported about attempt of subversive act by the adversary in the south-eastern sector of the line of contact. According to it, as a result of literate actions of the defense army the adversary was thrown back to its position leaving a body in the neutral zone.
