No inclination against judicial power in Armenia: justice minister
With the 2019-2023 strategy the incumbent Armenian authorities have adopted balanced approach toward judicial power, justice minister Rustam Badasyan said at the discussion of the strategy today.
He said the judges who will conscientiously implement their duties will implement justice, will have high salary, social guarantees, enhanced staff but all those who will not contribute to the implementation of justice in Armenia will be subjected to corresponding punishment.
The minister said the strategy fixes enhanced tools of disciplinary proceedings.
“There is no inclination against the judicial power. Disciplinary procedures will be carried out only in case the grounds for subjecting them to punishment are firm,” the minister said.
Badasyan also said that the strategy envisages reforms in the systems of prosecutors and investigators.
