To be signed agreements create new opportunities for businesses in Armenia and Singapore: Armenia’s PM

The to be signed agreements will create exclusively new opportunities both for the businesses in Armenia and Singapore, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong in Yerevan today.

“The new agreements which will be signed and then ratified create exclusively new opportunities both for the businesses in Singapore and Armenia as well as for the business in EAEU area,” Pashinyan told the reporters.

Singapore’s PM said the free trade agreement will give essential results.

“The contract will reduce the tariff issues and the market will become available not only for products but services as well. As of now, the trade turnover between Armenia and Singapore is rather small. I hope the volume of trade turnover will increase, bilateral ties will be enhanced and reinforced which in its turn will give us an opportunity to do more together,” Lee Hsien Loong said.
