President of Belarus expresses gratitude to Armenia for the conduction of the event and efforts underraken during presidency in EAEU
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko expressed gratitude to the Armenian side and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in particular, on behalf of their delegation for the warm reception, Lukashenko stated at the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
“We are grateful to Armenia for the efforts during its presidency in the EAEU to reinforce integration,” he stated.
Lukashenko reminded that in his speech about 2019 priorities Pashinyan mentioned the development of trade relations with the third countries.
“In this context it is necessary to positively assess the existence of the temporary agreement on creation of free trade zone with Iran which enters into force from October. We also attach great significance to the package of agreements with Singapore,” Lukashenko said, adding that Iran and Singapore are very significant partners and the potential of growth of economic ties is huge.
