Path selected by incumbent authorities destructive: Vazgen Manukyan releases a statement

Vernatun social-political club chairman Vazgen Manukyan released a statement accusing the incumbent authorities of ineffective usage of the public assistance for the implementation of essential reforms.

“The incumbent authorities having public assistance for implementing essential reforms followed the path of ineffective usage of this resource and the path contradicting own promises. This path resulted in the reduction of security level of Armenia and Artsakh and ineffective activity of the state governance system. There is no state development’s vision, no healthy political agenda and realistic economic development programs,” the statement says, registering that as a result of the policy carried out by the authorities the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement process entered deadlock increasing the possibility of resumption of wide-scale military actions, multiplying foreign political challenges.

The statement also stressed that irrespective of the promises of love and tolerance the division of the people into blacks and whites, yours and ours created atmosphere of mutual hatred.

“The illegal attacks on the Constitutional Court, encroachments against the judicial system, application of dual standards in investigative and judicial practice, selective “justice” result in the establishment of monopoly and transferred the March 1 trial to the political platform,” Manukyan stated, adding that the political forces, NGOs, politically active individuals must put their efforts to get out of the existing situation.

“Vernatun club has put an issue to become social-political platform that may promote the formation of healthy environment for overcoming the existing issues,” the statement says.
