Former defense minister says Kocharyan gave no instructions to him on March 1 as head of chief headquarters
Depriving a president having erected 30-year-long history is unacceptable, former defense minister Seyran Ohanyan told the reporters today speaking about Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan.
“He can be allowed to be in freedom, especially after Robert Kocharyan has calmly came and implements the demands forwarded to him by law enforcers,” Ohanyan said, adding that Armenia’s second president cannot impede anything.
“The preliminary investigation body has carried out its work. The people have already given testimonies, he cannot have any relation to them, or influence on them,” Ohanyan said.
“I was the closest person to him as head of the chief headquarters. Robert Kocharyan did not give me and especially others any instruction, any order,” Ohanyan said.
