Russian Railways company’s CEO presents to Armenia’s PM key condition for continuing upgrading program of Armenian railway infrastructures
The key condition for continuing upgrading program of Armenian railway infrastructures is the solution of all disputable issues in the spirit of constructive dialogue, CEO of Russian Railways company Oleg Belozyorov said at the October 8 meeting with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Russian Railways press service reported that Russia’s minister of transport Vladimir Tokarev was also present at the meeting.
Belozyorov stressed that Russian Railways company implements all the commitments envisaged by the concession agreement and made over 250 million USD investment.
According to the company’s press service, the parties discussed the further development of the Armenian railway network and normalization of the work of South Caucasian Railway company.
Earlier RTVI TV channel reported that Russian Railways are planning to terminate contract with Armenia. The information was confirmed at Russia’s Ministry of Transport.
