Turkey wants to annihilate Kurds: Kurdish community representatives conduct protest rally in front of U.S. Embassy in Armenia
Representatives of the Kurdish community in Armenia gathered today in front of U.S. Embassy in Armenia conducting protest action against the position of the USA not to support Kurds living in Syria.
NA lawmaker Knyaz Hasanov said they condemn the decision of the American government to leave Kurds all alone in front of Turkish artillery.
“If 100 years ago the Turkish authorities in the same way annihilated 1,5 Armenians and digested it with the help of the international community, it does the same today with Kurds. Today Turkey wants to eliminate Kurdish people from the earth. They organize aggression everywhere where Kurds live,” he stressed, adding that they have gathered in front of the embassy to condemn this genocide against Kurds.
“The Kurdish people are resolute to stand till the end and condemn its oppressors. We call on to catch the assassin hand of Turks and let Kurds live in their settlements,” the lawmaker said.
Earlier U.S. president Donald Trump stated that it does not matter to him who will defend Syria’s Kurds.
“Anyone who wants to assist Syria in protecting the Kurds is good with me, whether it is Russia, China, or Napoleon Bonaparte. I hope they all do great, we are 7,000 miles away!” Trump wrote on Twitter.
