Further development of Armenian-Georgian relations must be free from external factors: Armenia’s PM
Relations with Georgia are of special significance for Armenia, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Gakharia in Yerevan on Tuesday.
“Together with my counterpart we have discussed almost the whole range of issues on bilateral agenda. This agenda is so full that we cannot refer to all the issues during one meeting,” Pashinyan said.
Head of the Armenian government said one of the prior issue of Armenia’s foreign policy is formation of atmosphere of peace and security in the region. In this pre-context he attached significance to the continuous development of Armenian-Georgian relations free of the influence of any external factors.
The newly appointed Georgian premier noted that with the Armenian PM they spoke about cooperation in transport, energy sectors.
“We have also referred to the regional issues and fixed that the peace in the region is the most important thing,” the Georgian PM stressed.
