AFF chairman accepts resignation application of chief coach of Armenia’s national football team
Chief coach of Armenia’s national football team Armen Gyulbudaghyants submitted resignation application. The coach explained the decision with the failure of the team to achieve the ticket to the Euro 2020 final.
He said he made the difficult decision as he failed to justify the hopes of the fans of the Armenian team to enter the final of Euro 2020.
Chairman of the Armenian Football Federation Artur Vanetsyan thanked Gyulbudaghyants for the carried out work, saying that he has displayed himself as high professional with best human qualities.
“It is very difficult for me to accept the resignation of the coach, but during our conversation Armen Gyulbudaghyants did not change his decision. I am convinced that his work during one year will give results in future as well,” Vanetsyan said, voicing conviction that they will have occasion for further cooperation as well.
