Former head of CC staff claims sending Gagik Harutyunyan’s resignation application on March 2
Former head of the Constitutional Court staff Arushan Hakobyan has been interrogated in the sidelines of the criminal case against former head of NA’s staff Arsen Babayan.
Hakobyan is the one who sent the resignation application of former CC chairman Gagik Harutyunyan to the NA on March 2, 2018.
The Special Investigation Service claims that Babayan violated term for three days describing it as official falsification and initiating criminal proceedings against him.
Hraparak daily wrote that NA’s general department head Ruzanna Arzumanyan has also been interrogated over the case. She is said not to have registered the application immediately after receiving it on March 2, as she received the document at the end of the working Friday and left it for the Monday morning, as a result the document was registered three days later while NA chairman Ara Babloyan stated about termination of Gagik Harutyunyan’s authorities on March 2.
Speaking with Hraparak.am, Arushan Hakobyan said that he was summoned to the SIS on Saturday for the interrogation but had not been informed over what case.
Hakobyan said he gave testimonies in the SIS. As to the document, he said he testified that on March 2 he sent the resignation application to the NA via one of the CC employees.
As to how it appeared that the document was entered to the NA on March 5, Hakobyan said he does not have such information.
“I have written that I have no such information, I have wrote so in the testimony, I have sent it via an employee,” he said.
As to whether in his opinion anyone has make any violations and if yes why would they have done it, Hakobyan said, “I cannot tell about any reason I just sent the application and that’s it. I went to the SIS without even knowing why I had been summoned.”
