Prosperous Armenia faction views Arsen Babayan’s case in legal platform

The Prosperous Armenia faction views the issue of arrest of former deputy head of NA’s staff Arsen Babayan in legal platform, secretary of the faction Arman Abovyan told the reporters today.

“Our position is clear and simple – every legal process must be in the sidelines of law, Constitution. Opinions vary and they are contradictory. We are being guided with a simple idea – there are legal processes and we must base on them,” Abovyan said.

He noted that it is necessary not to base on emotional background, gossips, information pressure but on exclusively legal processes.

“Not to enter the field of gossips it is necessary to base on exclusively legal grounds. Our attorney lawmakers have their opinion, follow the processes, and in case of necessity will voice their opinion. But we are viewing it in just legal platform,” he said.
