This year’s stores the highest: CB chairman
Armenia’s Central Bank is conducting policy of fluctuating course, but on the other hand it had an opportunity to acquire enough currency, chairman of the Central Bank Arthur Javadyan told the reporters, adding that they did not reach 500 million but are close to it.
“We have not ever bought so much. The positive side of it is that we are growing our foreign stores. As compared with the nine months of the past year we have over 250 million USD store and may predict that by the end of the year this sum will grow more than it was previous year,” Javadyan said, adding that the big volume of stores results in the growth of the country’s potential.
At the same time he said that as a result of mandatory storing about 300 billion AMD has been injected to the economy.
“Being a realist and pragmatic, I may say that this year’s stores will be the highest,” he said.
