One-time allowance for child birth to become 300,000 AMD from January 1, 2020: Pashinyan
Social and economic situations are expected to change from 2020 agreed with the amendments in the Tax code that will enter into effect from January 1 of the upcoming year, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the 2020 state draft budget discussion in the NA on Monday.
“From January 1, 2020 the Tax code amendments will enter into force. With approximate calculations salaries of 200,000 citizens will be raised as a result of these amendments,” Pashinyan said.
He noted that the average sum of pensions will be raised by 10% and the one-time allowance for child’s birth will raise up to 300,000 AMD.
“For the first and second child 50 and 150 thousand AMD are provided correspondingly but this sum will grow, besides we will raise the monthly payments for children’s care till they become 2 years old,” he said, adding that the parents will get 25,200 AMD monthly against current 18,000.
