NSS former chief Arthur Vanetsyan will not be arrested: acting chief

Acting director of National Security Service Eduard Martirosyan denies information that materials are being prepared against former chief of the NSS Arthur Vanetsyan.

Asked whether Vanetsyan will be arrested and whether there are cases against him, Martirosyan said “No.”

He said he denies all the circulating news about the arrest of the former chief of the NSS.

“What arrest are you speaking about? Who is spreading such information?” he said.

Speaking about the audit by the State Control Service, Martirosyan said they have no relation with Vanetsyan and are just regular actions.

“The State Control Service is conducting regular audit, soon information will be available. It has no relation to Arthur Vanetsyan, the SCS is just studying our financial activities for the past two years,” he said.
