Human rights advocate Avetik Ishkhanyan, Artsakh Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan apply to law enforcers to relieve Arsen Babayan under their personal guarantees

Human rights advocate Avetik Ishkhanyan and Ombudsman of Artsakh Republic Artak Beglaryan applied to the law enforcement bodies expressing readiness to guarantee the proper behavior of Arsen Babayan during the investigation of the criminal case, Babayan’s lawyers report.

“Human rights advocate, chairman of Armenia’s Helsinki Committee Avetik Ishkhanyan and Artsakh Republic Human Rights Defender Artak Beglaryan have applied in a written form to the law enforcement bodies expressing readiness with their words and paid sum guarantee the proper behavior of Arsen Babayan during the examination of the criminal case,” the statement released by the defense team says.

They also reported about sending a motion on the basis of the references to the supervising prosecutor to change the preventive measure against Arsen Babayan and set him free.
