SIS chief refuses to answer about possibility of involving Hrayr Tovmasyan as defendant
The Special Investigation Service has a right to interrogate any person, SIS chief Sasun Khachatryan told the reporters today, referring to the issue of interrogating Constitutional Court president Hrayr Tovmasyan.
Asked whether the SIS must get the CC’s permission for it, Khachatryan responded, “For interrogation? For just interrogation? No.”
As to whether Hrayr Tovmasyan may be involved as a defendant, the SIS chief refused to comment on it now.
“It is a juridical dispute, I will not speak about it now,” he said.
