CSTO PA’s Council’s session kicks off in Yerevan
CSTO Parliamentary Assembly’s Council’s session kicked off in Armenia today. CSTO member countries and two invited countries – Serbia and Afghanistan – are participating in the session.
From the Armenian side the participants are Chairman of Armenia’s parliament Ararat Mirzoyan, deputy chairman Alen Simonyan, lawmakers Andranik Kocharyan, Arman Abovyan. From the Russian side present are State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Russia’s ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin and other high-ranking officials.
Speakers of parliaments of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan are also participating in the gathering.
After the session the delegations will be hosted by Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
At 1 p.m. the 12th plenary session will kick off. Currently it continues in closed regime.
