Defense Ministry tries to regulate issue with ORSIS unofficially: TASS

ORSIS company which makes part of a larger Promtechnology company has received unofficial invitation from Armenia’s Defense Ministry to regulate the issue with the annuled tender.

“We received unofficial invitations from Armenia’s Defense Ministry to come and sit at the table of negotiations. Attempts were also made to apply to our company by the people close to the Defense Ministry. We think in this case it is incorrect and inadmissible. The dialogue must be official,” the company’s representative told TASS.

“Promtechnology” company hopes the issue will not reach court.

It has been reported earlier about criminal case filed over annulling a weapon supply tender announced in May.

Only Russian ORSIS company satisfied the conditions of the tender with few million USD budget.

Later it appeared that the tender was annulled without any explanations.
