Poor village head appears to be local feudal: all community heads to be required to submit declaration
NA’s State-Legal Affairs Standing Committee is discussing the issue of passing to common registration institute.
With the amendments to the law in Public Service it is proposed to require declaration from all the heads of communities irrespective of the number of population of the community.
The amendment has been proposed by Bright Armenia faction.
It will enter into force from January 1, 2020.
“In small communities where there are no kinder-gartens and in socially insecure communities it appears that the heads of communities acquired huge property on behalf of their mothers-in-law, daughters-in-law and other related people. It appears that in a poor village we have a head who is local feudal,” My Step faction lawmaker Vahagn Hovakimyan said.
The bill received positive conclusion at the committee and will be included on the agenda of the four-day sessions.
