Court should ground its concerns that Kocharyan will impede examination if being released
Armenia’s Constitutional Court and Court of Cassation registered that there are no obstacles regarding the bail, while the court has thought over it a bit more than it should have, lawyer of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan Aram Orbelyan told the reporters today.
“The court thought this way – I will apply bail, he will impede the process, then I will want to nationalize the bail, will I manage to take it or not? etc. Like in the Death of Kikos fairy tale. But there was no need to worry that Kikos will fell on stone and die, as the case will not reach Kikos,” he said.
The lawyer said the court must decide on its own, whether it is a court or it is not court.
“The court must not do semi-steps. If it finds that while being in freedom Kocharyan will impede the process it must ground it,” the lawyer said.
