Today Armenia is not a legal state: former lawmaker
Vernatun social-political club convened today its first gathering.
Speaking to reporters former lawmaker of National Assembly Aghvan Vardanyan said it is yet difficult to say whether the club will turn into political force or not.
“The time, the process, the discussions will show the direction we will follow but obviously such clubs have prospects, vision for future,” he said.
“Today Armenia really needs to have one-two agenda to consolidate the public,” Vardanyan said, stressing that no matter how much Nikol Pashinyan states that the developments over Karabakh conflict are unprecedented very contradictory statements are being voiced.
“We have already heard about concessions, it appears that the negotiations have entered a deadlock,” Vardanyan stressed.
The former lawmaker also referred to the tough pressure on the judicial system which he said remind medieval period.
“My opinion is that today Armenia is not a legal state, the developments over courts, over the Constitutional Court show that there is no legal state,” he said.
Asked whether violation of term has not been registered while electing Hrayr Tovmasyan as member of the CC, Aghvan Vardanyan said no.
