Entrance of expert of Armenia’s PM’s affiliated think tank banned due to threats he posed to Armenia’s state security
The entrance of the expert of Orbeli think tank of RA Prime Minister administration-affiliated Public Relations and Information state non-trade organization Andranik Hovhanissyan to Armenia has been banned due to the threats he posed to the Armenian state security, NSS press service responded to Aysor.am’s inquiry.
“The person you have mentioned is banned to enter the Republic of Armenia in accordance with the F sub-provision of the Article 8 of the Armenian law about Foreigners,” the NSS said in response.
The article reads that a foreign citizen may be expelled from the Republic of Armenia in administrative order, if his activity threatens the national security of the Republic of Armenia, the public order and welfare, rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as in other cases specified in the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
Earlier Andranik Hovhanissyan wrote on Facebook that the border guards in Zvartnots airport took his asylum certificate and deported him to the Russian Federation.
